Betty White dinner hits auction block soon

TV star Betty White is auctioning off a date with her.  Money raised will benefit the  Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Los Angeles.

(CNN) -- How would you like a date with Betty White? Well, now's your chance!

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is auctioning off an evening with the 90-year-old actress -- and animal lover.

Proceeds will go to benefit the Los Angeles SPCA's programs and services. The winner will get to bring three friends along and dinner will be served at one of Betty's favorite LA-area restaurants.

Bidding starts December 3 on eBay.
