Crimetracker: Suspect wanted for attack in Morristown restaurant

The Morristown Police Dept. is trying to track down a suspect accused of assaulting two men at the Los Caporales restaurant, 1524 Buffalo Trail, last week.

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Morristown Police Dept. is trying to track down a suspect accused of assaulting two men at the Los Caporales restaurant, 1524 Buffalo Trail, last week. Toribia Vera-Chavez is wanted on aggravated assault charges, they said.

According to police, he and two unidentified men attacked the two victims with broken bottles and mugs, cutting them so badly that one of them had to be taken via LifeStar to UT Medical Center.

Police say Vera-Chavez drives a black Pontiac G6, with the Tennessee plate number H8993T. The car is missing its front bumper and is damaged all over.
