KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Check out some of the great events happening in Knoxville this weekend.
Downtown Knoxville Film and Music Festival - Featuring 80 bands and more than 40 films, the festival will take place throughout the downtown area. The kick off event starts today at 1 p.m. The festival is a two-week event, going until June 15.
Crawl Rally 2013 - Taking place at Oliver Springs' Windrock Park, crawlers and 4x4 drivers will compete today in hill climbing and trail riding. The fee to race is $20 for adults, $5 for kids and free for spectators. The competition starts today at 10 a.m.
National Trails Day - Get out and Volunteer at Great Smoky Mountains National Park for National Trails Day. The day ends with a BBQ picnic at Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area. Wear sturdy shoes and bring lots of water.
Powerboat Superleague Racing - Check out Volunteer Landing to get a glimpse of the Powerboat Superleague Racing going on today and tomorrow. Fifteen drivers from across the country will face off. Boats will hit speeds of up to 125 miles per hour.
