KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Check out these events around East Tennessee to plan your weekend.
Lavender Festival - Come out to enjoy homemade jams and fine art at Jackson Square this weekend for the Lavender Festival. In its fifteenth year, the festival will feature music and other entertainment. It gets underway this morning in Oak Ridge at 8 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.
Channon Christain and Chris Newsom Memorial Ride - It starts at Quaker Steak and Lube on Merchant Drive and ends at the shed in Maryville with BBQ and a concert from the John Titlow Band. It's $25 for a rider and $10 for a passenger.
Victor Ashe Park Fishing Day - If you're looking for some Father's Day fun, go to Victor Ashe Park and try to hook some fish. It's from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. You'll need to bring your own gear, and anyone 13 years old and over will need a license.
Central Flats and Taps Patio Party - Grab your dad and your dog and trot down to Central Falts and Taps in the Happy Holler for a patio party. There will be activities for the family and specials that benefit the Young Williams Animal Center. It's from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
