Dollywood's Float-a-thon - Taking place at Dollywood's Splash Country, Float-a-thon benefits the Ronald McDonald House in Knoxville. All you have to do is buy a special discounted ticket when you arrive, and all the money goes to the House--a home away from home for families dealing with children in the hospital.
Roller Derby Girls - The Roller Girls are in action tonight at the Civic Coliseum. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the derby starts at 6 p.m. There are two great bouts to be seen--all for $12. Afterward, join the after party at The Hill in the Fort Sanders area.
Destination Imagination Finals Concert - The Aaron Tracy Band will play for more than 10,000 people at Neyland Stadium tonight at about 8:45 p.m. Destination Imagination brought the band in to play for its Global Finals party. Aaron and his band will play the CMA Music Festival in two weeks.
Rockin' the Docks - A free concert near Lenoir City Park, the first Rockin' the Docks of the season will feature fireworks and music from the Super Dave 5. The Super Dave 5 is a cover band playing music ranging from Michael Jackson to The Beegees. You can get to the concert by land or by boat. The music starts at 4 p.m. and fireworks are at 10 p.m.
Brixx Pizza Fundraiser - All day today and tomorrow, Brixx Pizza on Kingston Pike will donate $3 from every 10-inch pizza it sells and $1 from every kids' pizza. It's donating to Hope for Victims, which is an organization supporting familes and loved ones who have lost someone to violent crime. Get something delicious and help others at the same time.
