KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- It's yet another rainy weekend in Knoxville, but don't let that stop you from enjoying these events.

Knox County Library Children's Festival of Reading - Taking place in World's Fair Park from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. today, this festival will feature artists and story tellers all for no charge.

Bark for Life Relay - Benefitting your canine companions, this event helps bring in funds for the American Cancer Society. It starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 2 p.m. at 1415 Old Weisgarber Rd. in the Dowell Springs Business Park.

Smoky Mountain Highland Games - Held at Maryville College, East Tennessee honors its Scottish heritage with a three-day event. The Games are centered around a field of athletic competition. Alongside the intense field competition, attendees can be entertained through piper's and drummer's competitions, country dancing, bands, balladeers, comedians, a dog show, and a kid's playground. Different types of scotch will be served as well.

Bloomin' Bar-B-Que and Bluegrass Festival - Going on all day, this festival in Sevierville features music, games and of course delicious bar-b-que.
