Welcome center on I-75 just past Kentucky line closing

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- People traveling north on Interstate 75 during the next several days will have to find someplace to stop other than the Whitley County welcome center in southern Kentucky near the Tennessee line.

The welcome center is closing Tuesday until early next week to repair floor drains in the restrooms.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the welcome center off ramps will be barricaded and closed to motorists.

Mobile message boards will be used to let travelers know about the closure.
