Loudon Co. K-9 unit gets national certification

Posted: 05/29/2008 - On May 18, 2008 the Loudon County Sheriff’s (LSCD) K9 Unit went to Cookeville, TN to compete and certify in the United States Police Canine Association’s (USPCA) 16 Annual National Detector Dog Trial. Eighty-three K9 teams gathered in Cookeville to compete and certify in the trial. These teams are some of the best in the nation and coming from all over the country including Iowa, Georgia, North Carolina, Idaho, Minnesota, Florida, Texas, Washington D. C., Canada and many more.
