U.S. Senate committee plans hearing on TVA sludge spill

Posted: 12/31/2008 - The U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works is planning to hold a hearing on the recent TVA fly ash sludge spill at the Kingston Fossil Plant in Roane County, according a letter from committee chair Sen. Barbra Boxer sent to Southern Alliance for Clean Energy Executive Director Stephen Smith and posted on the SACE Web site.
