Power Outages and School Closings

Updated: 12/01/2006 - Over 40,000 KUB customers do not have power in East Tennessee. Crews are working to clear downed power lines and trees and restore power. There are several schools that are closing down for the day because of the wind and power problems. Morgan County, Meigs County, Union County, and Etowah County are all closed for the day. Scott County schools are running on a one hour delay, but staff must report on time.
