Well wishes for Inskip shooting victims

Well wishes for Inskip shooting victims

Inskip Elementary Principal Elisa Luna (Left) and Assistant Principal Amy Brace (Right) were shot Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at the school.

Two principals were shot Wednesday at Inskip Elementary School in North Knoxville, allegedly gunned down by a school employee.

Principal Elisa Luna and assistant principal Amy Brace are expected to survive their wounds, according to Knoxville Police Chief Sterling Owen.

In times of need, words of encouragement from the community--even complete strangers--can go a long way in helping families and victim cope with situations they didn't ask to thrust into.

VolunteerTV.com created this page as a place for the East Tennessee community to show support for the victims of this shooting, as well as for their families and friends.

I've known the Foster family for years plus the shooter. I never witnessed the violent side of Mark, so this was a shock to me when this tragedy happened. I pray for the Luna and Brace families, I have educators in my family so this hits close to home in many facets. May God bless the family and friends of the victims of this awful tragedy.

My heart goes out to Ms.Brace & Ms.Luna. My son attended Inskip last year & we are very familiar with both of the wonderful women. My brother was also gunned down in a Knox County School. It has became a very scary thought for me to even send my children to school anymore. Something has to be done. My family will continue praying for the vicitims & there families.

My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. I am an educator also. All you did was show up for work, just doing a job you love. I know you will be back in full force soon!
