ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- There's a happy ending in the search for a missing Anderson County man.
We first reported at 11, this man, 78 year old Sammie Jarrett Adams, was last seen yesterday around 4 p.m. after leaving the Summit Medical Group in Clinton.
He was found late last night at the Ingles grocery store, also in Clinton.
Police say he had driven to several other places, before ending up at the food-store and his car battery died when he left the lights on.
He's in good shape, and was taken home by deputies
The Anderson County Sheriff's Department needs your help looking for a missing elderly man.
78-year-old Sammie Jarrett Adams was last seen leaving the Summitt Medical Group outside of Claxton - driving a silver Mercury Marquis - but never made it home to Clinton.
Deputies say he does have health problems and could be disoriented.
