LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Valley Authority will showcase sustainable recreation enhancements at Melton Hill Dam recreation area on Friday.
In celebration of Earth Day, TVA will dedicate the work at the Lenoir City recreation spot, which includes a campground area.
There will be tours showing solar and wind power generation, energy efficiency lighting, solar water hearing and water conservation elements. Also featured will be storm water management techniques, electric vehicle charging, coal combustion product reuse and recycling facilities.
All activities are open to the public.
