KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Autopsies have shown the three women found dead in a northwest Knox Co. townhouse on Monday died from gunshot wounds, the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday.
Authorities found 39 year-old Christina Moore, her twin sister Bridgett Stagnolia, and 24 year-old Amber Snellings dead inside the home around 3:00 p.m. Moore's husband Paul Moore, Jr., was arrested for their murders several hours later.
He has been charged with three counts of first degree murder. Police recovered his pistol from a wooded area near his brother's home where he was captured.
Authorities believe the slayings were domestic related.
The 51 year-old reportedly admitted to killing his wife, but claimed not to remember shooting the other two victims.
