Send Trails End Campground begins an economic recovery in Scott County

HUNTSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) --- Could a dirt bike track help get Scott County's economy back on track?

Well it couldn't hurt.

Trails End Campground could help answer that question.

The Howard family just opened a 1.5 mile motocross track on their 200 acre campground and hope the races and practices will spark some new business.

They're backing it up with jobs.

Eight hires so far and more could come if the business takes off.

In a County with almost 1/5th out of work those 8 jobs mean a .1% drop in unemployment.
