(LMS) -- CONCORD, N.C. (July 10, 2009) - Area Scouts are invited to enjoy an evening of Monster Truck racing followed by a night of sleeping under the stars in Lowe's Motor Speedway's infield Saturday, Aug. 15, during the third annual Monster Truck Scout Camporee.
Hosted by Lowe's Motor Speedway and area Scout Councils, the camporee is conducted in conjunction with the Circle K Back-to-School Monster Truck Bash at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway.
The sleepover package includes a ticket to the Monster Truck event, a camp out between Turns 3 and 4 in the Lowe's Motor Speedway infield, a commemorative sleepover patch and a light breakfast Sunday morning.
If purchased prior to Aug. 1, tickets for the sleepover package are
$15 for children ages 12 and under and $22 for adults. On Aug. 1, ticket prices increase to $18 for children and $25 for adults.
Tickets for scouts who only want to attend the Circle K Monster Truck Bash are just $18 for adults and $9 for children. On Aug. 1, ticket prices will increase to $21 for adults and $12 for children.
The Circle K Monster Truck Bash will feature 10 of the world's top monster trucks-Avenger, Samson, Brutus, Raminator, Tailgator, Nitemare, Equalizer, Stone Crusher, Mopar Magic and War Wizard. The Monster Trucks will battle in a series of one-on-one eliminations over a radical infield obstacle course and then go all out in an incredible freestyle competition.
The Circle K Monster Truck Bash will also include a full slate of CRASHCar racing and a wild and wacky Trailer Race of Destruction where CRASHCars will battle while towing a variety of items, including boats, campers and utility trailers.
