(BMS) -- Eight mega monsters will descend upon Bristol Motor Speedway as it prepares to host the July 25 Thompson Metal Monster Truck Madness. The confines of BMS provide the perfect playground for these powerful pickups and fans will likely be on the edge of their seats as these machines soar through the air.
This high-octane show will let fans see some of the biggest names in the Monster Truck genre wreak havoc in the BMS infield. Among the trucks scheduled to appear are Equalizer, War Wizard, Raminator, Rammunition, Samson, Bad Habit, Ragin’ Rebel and Martial Law.
Kids young and old will enjoy watching these 10,000 pound behemoths defy gravity and cause a little carnage in Thunder Valley.
For those that want to get even closer to the action, the pre-race pit party allows fans to come to the infield of the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile” to meet the drivers, get autographs and pose for pictures next to the trucks. Merchandise from all of the drivers also will be available for purchase.
In addition, the Team FMX freestyle motocross team will put on a stunning display of awesome jumps and stunts just like the ones seen on TV. The routines are always a crowd-favorite and the Team FMX riders always are happy to put on an amazing show for their screaming fans.
A demolition derby also will give the fans a taste of destruction as the last one standing leaves with the big paycheck. Fans will not want to leave their seats for this one.
Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance for $15 by calling the Bristol Motor Speedway ticket office. Tickets are $20 at the gate on the day of the event. A $5 off coupon good for the day of the event will be available at Fas Mart Convenience Stores and Roadrunner Markets.
