Kasey Kahne and Kevin Harvick will be in Knoxville Thursday, October 6th

Harrisburg, Pa. – Bargain shoppers and NASCAR fans, get ready for not one, but two grand openings! On Thursday, Oct. 6, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet will open two brand new stores in East Tennessee: one in Maryville and one in Knoxville. Bargain shoppers can explore unbeatable finds in each store. NASCAR fans can head either to Maryville to meet Kasey Kahne or to Knoxville to meet Kevin Harvick. Kahne and Harvick will help the Ollie’s team with the ribbon-cutting ceremonies and meet 250 fans at the respective stores.

The growing chain, known for unbeatable closeouts and “Good Stuff Cheap,” will officially open both new stores at 10 a.m. on Thursday October 6. The Maryville store is located at 560 South Foothills Drive, in Foothills Plaza. The Knoxville store is located at 2936 Knoxville Center Drive in Knoxville Center.

Racing fans and bargain shoppers should arrive plenty early to either location to ensure a chance to meet the drivers. Beginning at 7:30 a.m., 250 tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. The lucky ticket holders can have Kahne or Harvick autograph one of their own pieces of memorabilia and have their picture taken with him following the grand opening ceremony at 10 a.m.

“We are thrilled to debut our first two Tennessee stores in a big way, with two of NASCAR’s fan favorites,” said Mark Butler, President and CEO of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. “Not only will Tennessee bargain shoppers enjoy the unique Ollie’s shopping experience, they will have the opportunity to meet some of the sport’s greatest guys – both on and off the track. The new stores in Maryville and Knoxville mark a significant step in our growth, and we couldn’t be happier to offer “good stuff cheap” to local shoppers.”

Kahne and Harvick will join members of the Ollie’s team – including “Ollie” himself – and town government officials and community leaders for Ollie’s grand opening festivities.

“Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has been a great supporter of mine over the years, in racing and with the Kasey Kahne Foundation,” said Kahne. “I have been fortunate to be a part of a lot of grand openings, and it’s exciting to be a part of one in a new state for Ollie’s. It will be a great opportunity for me to meet some fans.”

“I’ve known Mark and the Ollie’s crew for a long time and am excited for them to grow in the great southern state of Tennessee,” said Harvick. “NASCAR runs deep in Tennessee and I’m looking forward to saying hello to some of my biggest fans and supporters in Knoxville.”
