WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- A graduate of the School of the Arts in Winston-Salem has joined the Broadway cast of "Equus" starring Daniel Radcliffe of "Harry Potter" fame.
Anna Camp plays Jill Mason, who becomes romantically involved with Radcliffe's character in the Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning play about a young man who blinds six horses, and why he did it.
The play was scheduled to begin previews Friday with an official opening Sept. 25 at Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. The play will run through Feb. 8, 2009.
Camp is from Rock Hill, S.C., and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2004. Arts school alumnus Paul David Story is Radcliffe's standby. He's from Iowa City, Iowa, and graduated from the school in 2005.
