BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- Hip-hop group Nappy Roots will give a free concert back where they came from -- in Bowling Green.
The Daily News reports that the five-man group will perform on the campus of Western Kentucky University on the Downing University Center South Lawn Tuesday.
The alternative southern rap group's latest album, "The Humdinger," was released Aug. 5. Nappy Roots' first album, 2002's "Watermelon, Chicken & Grits," went platinum, and was followed by "Wooden Leather" in 2003.
Nappy Roots is known for its singles, including "Awnaw," "Round Da Globe" and "Po Folks."
