MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) -- "America's Got Talent" winner Kevin Skinner gave a free two-hour concert to a joyous hometown crowd the night before heading out to Las Vegas to headline his new show.
Six-thousand people cheered his every move during the Saturday night show in the Graves County High School gymnasium.
The Paducah Sun reported that afterward, hundreds of fans stood in line in the gym and waited for the country singer's autograph. One even brought along a 1991 Graves County High School yearbook with Skinner's picture -- sporting a mullet.
"I'll tell you the only difference with things now," said his sister, Jennifer Skinner. "Now if I want to talk to my brother, I have to get in line."
