(WVLT) - The problems just keep coming for pop star Britney Spears.
Prosecutors have charged the singer with two misdemeanor counts of ht and run and driving without a valid license, in connection with a parking lot crash in August.
If convicted, Spears could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 for each count.
Just last week, the judge that will make the decision in the custody case for Spears two children ordered her to undergo twice weekly random drug testing.
The judge called her a "frequent and continuous" user of alcohol and drugs.
This all comes on the heels of Spears disappointing performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, which had been touted as her "comback" performance.
