CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Music artist Cee Lo Green wore out his welcome at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival.
The Chattanooga Times Free Press reported organizers of the Chattanooga music festival said they were deluged with complaints after Cee Lo took the stage 45 minutes late and launched into a profanity-laced performance.
Festival officials said the performer had airport delays with his private jet, but were caught off guard by his lyrics.
Executive Director Chip Baker of Friends of the Festival said Cee Lo "won't be coming back."
The artist also gained popularity as a coach on the NBC reality show "the Voice."
The Atlanta performer's press and management agencies didn't respond Sunday to requests for comment.
