MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Tickets for the public go on sale Tuesday for an event saluting Elvis Presley next August in Memphis.
It's the Elvis 35th Anniversary Concert, with Elvis via video and singers and musicians who worked with him, a full orchestra and other performers. All the music is live except for Elvis' voice, which will be from archival concert performance footage.
The event will be Aug. 16 at FedExForum, corresponding to the 35th anniversary of his death. It will be part of several days of special activities devoted to his life.
Tickets cost $65 to $105 and will be sold at Ticketmaster, ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
Tickets went on sale two weeks ago for Elvis Insiders, his official fan club whose members had the chance to get choice seats first.
