Area teachers are behind the desk Tuesday getting a lesson in technology.
Washington State Community College is hosting the "Tech Prep Math Project" for teachers in Washington, Morgan and Meigs counties.
The one-day seminar encourages teachers to enhance classroom learning through the use of graphing calcualators and the TI-Navigator System.
The system allows teachers to track student activity and measure student learning.
The seminar's organizer says this is important for teachers to learn because students have grown up in a video game society, making them more open to technical teachings.
