Jacksboro, Campbell County (WVLT) - Lafollette Mayor Cliff Jennings was one of four people sentenced in a Campbell County gambling sting Monday morning.
Mayor Jennings pleads no contest to the felony charge of aggravated gambling promotion.
Judge Sexton sentenced the 57-year-old to six months of unsupervised probation and a $4,500 fine.
If Jennings gets in trouble anytime during the probation period, he'll have to serve 75% of six months in jail.
Jennings was one of eight people charged after the TBI raided illegal video poker parlors in Campbell County.
Jennings was the landlord of the building.
The man renting the building from Jennings, Alan Baird, received the same sentence.
The other 14 in the sting will be sentenced at a later date.
