Knoxville (WVLT) - Approximately 200 employees at Kimberly-Clark in Knoxville learned Wednesday they are losing their jobs.
It's part of an outsourcing at the Knoxville administration assistance office of Kimberly-Clark.
Accountants, and workers in accounts payable, finance, and human resources are among those affected.
The exact number of cuts will be determined over the next couple of months.
Kimberly-Clark currently employs over 400 in Knoxville.
A news release states the workers have been aware of possible cuts since July of 2005.
Kimberly-Clark makes Kleenex, Huggies and Depends among other products.
The company says the cuts will not affect their Loudon County production facility.
