If you're heading on I-75 northbound through Loudon County, you're going to have to take a detour.
A sinkhole has closed the northbound lanes there.
T-DOT is working overnight to repair it, and they expect to have the road reopened by daybreak or sooner.
Until then, you're asked to get off at exit 68 on highway eleven, then get back on at exit 72.
T-DOT tells us sinkholes are very common in that part of the county, and it was most likely caused by last week's rain.
