Feds Nab Wisconsin Man In Stadium Threat Hoax

Newark, N.J. (AP) -- A Wisconsin grocery store clerk is under arrest on charges he's behind the hoax that claimed there would be dirty bomb attacks during this weekend's NFL games.

Jake Brahm surrendered to federal authorities this morning, and is due in a Milwaukee court later today. The US Attorney in Newark, New Jersey, says Brahm is charged in a sealed criminal complaint.

Giants Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, was one of seven NFL sites mentioned in the online threat, which turned up about a week ago. Homeland Security officials quickly discredited it.

An FBI official in Washington tells the Associated Press that the Wisconsin man acknowledges posting the fake threats because he was battling a man in Texas to see who could come up with the scariest posting. The Texas man backed up the story when agents quizzed him.
