Firefighters battle early morning house fire in Sevier County.
Seymour, Sevier County (WVLT) - The Sevier County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who was killed in a fire in Seymour Tuesday morning.
Deputies identify the victim as the man who lived in the home, 66-year-old Charles McMurray.
That ID is tentative pending an autopsy.
Firefighters found McMurray's body after a fire just after 3:30 Tuesday morning at a small home on Hicks Way.
Flames were shooting out of the home when firefighters arrived.
No word on a cause, but the Seymour Fire Chief says it does not appear to be suspicious.
