Knoxville (WVLT) - A Knoxville defense attorney cited earlier this week on an assault charge is in more trouble tonight.
The Knoxville News-Sentinel reports that herb Moncier was briefly held in contempt during a hearing in federal court in Greeneville.
The paper reports Moncier continually interrupted US District Judge Greer prompting the judge to take action.
Volunteer TV has confirmed that Moncier is due back in court on December 11 to show just cause why he should not be convicted of the misdemeanor charge.
He could get up to 30 days in jail.
Moncier has not returned calls seeking comment.
