Santa Monica, Calif. (AP) -- A judge in California has sentenced elderly driver George Weller to probation for a car crash that killed ten people at a farmers market.
The judge said he believed the crime deserved punishment, but that the 89-year-old Weller is too ill to do any time.
Weller was convicted last month of ten counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
