Child & Family Tennessee: Items Needed for Area Children

(WVLT) - (WVLT) - Child and Family Tennessee is still looking for donations to help needy families and children during the holidays. Director Kate O'Day told us on East Tennessee This Morning on Monday that as part of their "Dear Santa" program, they are working to grant childrens' requests. They especially need items for teenagers. The following is a list of gifts they need:

-socks (all sizes, male and female)
-underwear (all sizes, male and female)
-jackets (all sizes, for teen girls and boys)
-hooded sweatshirts (all sizes for teenagers)
-for teen girls: makeup, hair accessories, combs, barrettes, ribbons, jewelry
-portable CD players with batteries
-sports equipment (basketballs, footballs, etc.)
-games (board games, hand-held games, for all ages)
-gift cards (Target, Walmart, grocery stores)

The organization also needs items to wrap the gifts, including gift wrap, tape, scissors, and gift boxes. You can send or take donations to the office at 901 East Summit Hill Drive in Knoxville.
