Child Death CampbellJacksboro, Campbell County (WVLT) - A Campbell County father already charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect in connection with the death of his daughter now faces murder charges.
Sheriff's deputies amended the charges to first degree murder today after they say William Coltharp admitted that his two year old daughter Tabitha probably ingested a pain medication he had illegally obtained.
Tabitha was found unresponsive in Coltharp's home over the Thanksgiving weekend, and died hours later.
Coltharp's bond is set at $300,000 and he'll be in court on December 19th.
