Knoxville (WVLT) - Allegiant Air hasn't even begun service out of Knoxville and it's already adding new destinations.
Sources tell Volunteer TV News, the low fare airline will add direct service to Orlando beginning next year.
The official announcement comes Wednesday.
Orlando is one of the top five destinations for people flying out of Knoxville each year.
Currently, Delta serves Orlando with two daily direct flights.
Right now, the cheapest price we found for that flight is $270 round trip.
If Allegiant follows the price structure for other service to Orlando, that flight could cost as little as $116 round-trip.
