Knoxville (WVLT) It may not feel like Christmas, but the Fountain City community is getting set for Christmas and they kicked off the season celebration today with their annual parade.
The annual Fountain City Christmas Parade sponsored by the downtown optimist club stepped off on Broadway this morning at 10 am.
Despite the 60 degree temperatures, this parade always seems to put community residents in the Christmas spirit...
Marching bands, and even the Big Orange Army marched in the parade.
Lots of good little girls and boys waited for the big moment.
And then he appeared. Jolly old Saint Nick paying one last visit to East Tennessee before he makes his famous ride around the world dropping off presents.
