On the grounds of Church Street United Methodist this afternoon you could hear the sounds of Bethlehem.
Church Street workers re-created what they say Bethlehem might have been like the night baby Jesus was born.
Upwards of 200 people, all dressed in costume and in character, filled the marketplace, fed the animals and played some beautiful music.
It takes about 5 days to set up for the free one day event that ended tonight.
But workers say its well worth it, to pass along the true meaning of Christmas to the thousands who will visit.
Any signs of the 21st century are completely covered up in the church's fellowship hall.
