Nuclear Company Pays Employee Fired After "Scab" Remarks

Erwin, TN (WVLT) - Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin has agreed to pay a worker fired after he called a man crossing picket lines, a "scab."

Kim Gordon was a salaried employee and was not represented by the union, but the United Steel Workers did help her file a charge for wrongful termination.

NFS is the sole supplier of fuel for the US Navy's nuclear fleet and also supplies TVA with nuclear fuel.
