Oak Ridge, Anderson County (WVLT) - Oak Ridge Police are investigating a shooting involving a three year old boy.
It happened this morning in the Scarbroro Community.
Few details are being released, but authorities say the child was transferred to UT Medical Center after his mother brought him to Methodist Medical Center.
The question investigators are trying to answer, who shot the child.
Investigators say they're trying to piece everything together.
"We've really not determined that yet. The shot came from what appears to be inside the residence, the child was in the residence when it happened, right now, we have to look at all the evidence in the case and see where it takes us," says Oak Ridge Police Lieutentant Mike Uher.
He child's name and condition is not being released at this time.
Police say no weapon has been recovered and so far, no arrests have been made.
