Knoxville (WVLT) - An East Tennessee woman is in jail accused of beating her two sons with television cables and a hot metal spoon.
The children ages six and four were found unattended at a grocery store in Morristown Friday.
23-year-old Lidia Maldonado approached officers talking to the boys, telling she was the mother.
An evaluation from police and DCS workers found the boys had numerous bruises and injuries leading police to arrest Maldonado.
