Plane Belly LandingKnoxville (WVLT) - A scary couple of moments for a pilot aboard a small aircraft Monday afternoon, when it had to make a belly landing at Island Home Airport in Knoxville.
Officials say Dave Colston of Florida was attempting to make a landing here in Knoxville when he noticed that his gear was not locked in place.
In fact, it went back up into the plane as he made a belly landing.
The plane is in relatively good condition.
Colston was not injured in the accident.
