Moscow (AP) -- Russia says it will team up with China for robotic missions to the moon, but that's where the cooperation ends.
Russia's space chief says Moscow will restrict the transfer of technology to Beijing. He says China's space program is still about 30 years behind Russia's achievements but the Chinese are quickly catching up.
Russia sold china the technology that formed the basis of its manned space program. The Chinese Shenzhou spacecraft closely resembles the Russian Soyuz.
China plans its next manned space flight in 2007. It also wants to send up a space station and land a robot probe on the moon by 2010.
