Nashville (AP) -- A jail inmate in Nashville was found hanged in his cell over the weekend.
Spokeswoman Karla Crocker of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office says guards doing a routine cell check shortly after noon Sunday found the 52-year-old man dead with a bedsheet around his neck, tied to the bars of the cell door.
His name wasn't immediately released.
