Suspicious Activity Leads to Prostitution Arrest

Oak Ridge, Anderson County (WVLT) - An Oak Ridge man and Clinton woman are facing charges this afternoon, after being arrested over the weekend, for what authorities are calling suspicious activity.

Authorities say Deputy Ryan Williams saw a car parked in a cemetery on Saturday.

After checking it out, the deputy found 49-year-old Johnny Woodby and 20-year-old Nichole Phillips inside.

Woodby, who was wanted on failure to appear, is now facing several drug charges, weapons charges, theft and patronizing prostitution.

Phillips is charged with prostitution.

They are both expected in court Wednesday.
