Chattanooga (WVLT) - The 7-year-old girl at the center of an endangered child alert has been found in Chattanooga.
Dayton Police Lieutenant Jeff Hill says Alexis Sharp was found safely in Chattanooga around 1:30 Friday.
Police say seven-year-old Alexis Sharp was picked up at school by her father's girlfriend, Karen Hasselbring, Thursday morning. Authorities say Hasselbring did not bring the girl homw and has not contacted Sharp's father since.
Lieutenant Hill says authorities are still searching for Hasselbring who is wanted for questioning in the case.
Karen Hasselbring is a 40-year-old white female with red hair and green eyes. She is 5'7" tall and weighs 142 pounds.
Hasselbring was last seen driving a white 1994 2-door Chevy Beretta with Tennessee tags 498-BDZ.
Authorities believe Hasselbring may be in the Chattanooga, TN area.
