A judge has denied an attempt to delay a transfer hearing in the case against Kenny Bartley, the boy accused in a deadly shooting spree at Campbell County High School back in 2005.
Bartley's attorney, Michael Tatmaker wanted a one month delay because a psychiatrist is unable to attend the hearing
Hatmaker also cited his own health troubles as a need for a delay.
Judge Mike Davis denied the request and will allow the psychiatrist to submit written testimony.
Bartley is expected back in court on Monday.
