Boy Lauded For Saving Great Grandmother

Kingsport, Tenn. (AP) -- Young Aaron Estep is being thanked for his courage in Kingsport.

The 13-year-old awoke to the smell of smoke Monday and quickly went to the next room to get his elderly great-grandmother, helping her out of the burning home.

Both of them suffered minor burns and Aaron breathed in some smoke getting his great-grandmother safely out.

Doctors kept Aaron in the hospital overnight for observation, but he's expected to fully recover.
