Injured Firefighter Released from Hospital

Knoxville (WVLT) - Jeff Kindrick of the Knoxville Fire Department is resting at home this afternoon.

Kindrick is one of four firefighters hurt in last week's fire in the Old City. He was sent home from UT Medical Center this afternoon after six days in the hospital.

He suffered burns and a fractured vertebra.

Firefighters Joe Lee, Kevin Andrews, and Jeff Lee, who were all injured in the McClung Warehouse Fire are expected to speak with the media Tuesday. They will be joined by Firefighters Gary Ellis and James Rickett who were injured in the Townview Towers fire.

We'll be there for that news conference and have the details on VolunteerTV.com and on WVLT FIRST at 4:00 Tuesday.
