Police Search for Suspect in Deadly Hit and Run

Knoxville (WVLT) - Knoxville Police are looking for a suspect that hit several people last night, killing one of them.

Officers say they received a report at about eight o'clock about a van that had hit three people on Elm Street near Baxter Avenue.

Paramedics took a 17 year-old woman to UT Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Two others are at Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle is a white van, with the passenger side mirror missing.

It has damage to the right headlight and grill and a blue neon light surrounding the license plate.
