Knoxville (WVLT) - Knox County Schools Superintendent Doctor Charles Lindsey could soon be out of a job.
According to The News Sentinel, a third of Knox County School Board members say they are leaning towards buying out Lindsey's contract.
The News Sentinel reports some members praised Lindsey, but said a new perspective is needed to move the school system forward.
School board members say they expect documentation on the cost of the proposed buyout by Tuesday's board workshop.
